I am not sure if I am using the Everywhere Addon during the trial, do I need to purchase it

The Everywhere addon allows you to implement the same user review functionality found in JReviews listings to other components like VirtueMart, JomSocial, Jomres and others.

You don't need the addon to use any of the modules in JReviews and if you didn't setup categories using the Everywhere Addon link in the JReviews administration it means you are not using it.
